18 years ago I left graduate school at Tufts University to become a chef. Although I had a promising career ahead, it simply did not light me up. I moved back to New York City and enrolled in Culinary School.
Now, I teach, cook and create beautiful food, delicious desserts always with the intention of experiencing flavor.
As a private chef, I cared for the well being of many New Yorkers while ignoring my own health. Over time, I gained weight and the lymphedema in my legs threatened the career I love. I wasn't going to give this up, so I began using the tools I so eagerly used for clients
to improve my health and save my career.
3 years later with a focus on nutrition, and exercise I have lost over 150 pounds and I am committed to a healthier lifestyle for my customers, my community and for me.
